The objective of the Parallel Bible Hebrew / English: Tanakh is to clarify the biblical text through the oral tradition of the people of Israel, in order to facilitate the understanding and dissemination of the word of God to all humanity, allowing access to the original text (delivered in Hebrew ) and a faithful translation of it. To achieve this purpose, the text structure has the following characteristics:
.- Fidelity of the translation to the original text To achieve a better translation, we have revised the English text in accordance with the original Hebrew text and the oral tradition of the people of Israel.
.- Transliteration of Biblical names and places We have changed the English versions of the biblical terms. In order to allow the correct pronunciation1 of these we add special symbols and accents to indicate sounds that have no representation in English.
.- Hebrew text with punctuation, cantillation and phonetics The present edition contains the original Hebrew text vocalized and with cantillation and below it is the phonetics. To achieve a better understanding, the Hebrew text has been arranged in front of the English text.
.- Attachments These allow the deepening of different themes. These include a Bible index, family trees, maps, and related articles.
.- Comments The comments are based on the oral tradition of the people of Israel, which was received by Mosheh (Moses) on Mount Sinai and handed down to this day. These are found under the text in English, clarifying the understanding of the indicated verses and explaining the etymology of the terms, that is, their origin in their root coming from the Hebrew language.
